Governor Kim Reynolds and Senator Chuck Grassley have double-digit leads over their Democrat opponents while the race for Iowa Attorney General remains a toss-up.
Iowans for Tax Relief Foundation's final poll before the election shows the political environment for Republicans in Iowa remains strong, as the generic congressional ballot now has the GOP with a 14-point advantage.
In every iteration of the ITR Foundation Poll this year, both Governor Kim Reynolds and Senator Chuck Grassley have held double-digit leads over their Democrat opponents. Reynolds’ lead now stands at 19 points over Deidre DeJear.
Grassley has an 11-point lead over Mike Franken.
The race for Attorney General remains a toss-up. The last three ITR Foundation polls have indicated a statistical dead heat between Democrat incumbent Tom Miller and Republican challenger Brenna Bird.
The top issue for Iowans is inflation and the cost of living. President Biden is viewed unfavorably by 58.3% of voters, while each Republican candidate maintained their net favorability.
