More Cities Added to ITR Local

In addition to every school district and county, property tax information is now available on ITR Local for every Iowa city with a population greater than 1,000.

From now until the end of February, your school board, city council, and county board of supervisors will create budgets that will determine your property tax bill.

When these local elected officials choose to spend more and raise property taxes, they need to clearly explain why the government needs the money more than the citizens they represent.
