Jim joined ITR Foundation in 2024. He is concerned about the growing tax burdens being placed on his fellow Iowans.

Jim is a financial advisor with over 25 years of experience. Jim also volunteers as a Chapter Leader for the Association of Mature American Citizens and is on the foundation board of his local church. He previously served on the board of Northwest Iowa Community College and Northwestern College’s Alumni board.

Jim is a graduate of Northwestern College in Orange City and has additional coursework in Public Administration.

Jim and his wife Elizabeth live in Johnston and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and supporting their activities.
